Dear Tumbleweed users and hacker,
10 days ago I have filed a delete request against openSUSE:Factory/sawfish.
The package has had the last successful build on 2019-10-11 16:52:05 and the first failed recored at 2020-05-30 21:01:20
Since then, no fixes were submitted, and the delete request did also not get any comments - implying that the package is abandoned
Together with sawfish, this will also hit the package sawfish-pager (which does build at the moment, but without sawfish becomes useless).
Is there anybody that would like sawfish to remain and wants to give a stab at fixing it? If so, please let me knwo - so we can stop the DR. Of course, even if deleted, the package can be re-added at any moment if/when it builds again.
Oh, in case somebody DOES want to pick it up, it likely would require https://github.com/SawfishWM/sawfish/commit/d4364707a58d335dab4d6ca11b761fd9... from the upstream git tree (which is mainly inactive, but at least for that has a fix) And some spec file changes (gdk-pixbuf-glib-2.0 is no longer implicit in gdk-pixbuf-2.0) Cheers, Dominique
