Remark: it is not possible to do a zypper dup without accepting AdobeICCProfiles - also if other packages don't need it - the update will be cancelled! There is no way to do a zypper dup without installing AdobeICCProfiles :-(
certainly there is, just remove AdobeICCProfiles, or add a lock
rpm -q --whatrequires AdobeICCProfiles no package requires AdobeICCProfiles Similar at my PC
zypper -v se -s --requires AdobeICCProfiles Verbosity: 1 Non-option program arguments: 'AdobeICCProfiles' Initializing Target Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... Force resolution: No No matching items found. Again the same (only in German)
zypper -v rm AdobeICCProfiles Verbosity: 1 Non-option program arguments: 'AdobeICCProfiles' Initializing Target Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... Force resolution: Yes Selecting 'AdobeICCProfiles-2.0-155.13.noarch' for removal. Resolving package dependencies... Force resolution: Yes
The following package is going to be REMOVED: AdobeICCProfiles 2.0-155.13
1 package to remove. After the operation, 5.4 MiB will be freed. Continue? [y/n/...? shows all options] (y): Remark that some Porgrams use data which be effected by the last removal and I should run zypper ps -s
it doesn't say removing AdobeICCProfiles will affect anything. do you see it in the list you provided below?

you *only* need to accept the license for AdobeICCProfiels if you install it or update an installed version of it. But why this will be required at zypper dup?
remove AdobeICCProfiles and it will not. but you answering 'no' means the operation cannot be completed as you cannot utilize AdobeICCProfiles w/o accepting the license. so zypper stopped/failed as intended/aborted
And why zypper dup will be stopped if I answer with no?
pervious answer the message "Checking for running processes using deleted libraries..." is not really relevant to your question about AdobeICCProfiles. it has to do with libraries/apps that were active when you "dup"ed and were replaced by the zypper operation. if you cleared them all you would still have the same license request and ... -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
