thank for reply.. if this can be done with shell scrip, python, Perl or other program language, it would be easier. you will have to run it as admin or else it won't work... most important is *@home partition*, your personal files... maybe add some decent programs to "openSUSE (Tumbleweed) Rescue CD" witch actually work to recover data...
