5.1.0 is available in KDE:Extra, if you want to have it. That said, IMHO we could actually submit 5.1.0 to Tumbleweed maybe, it does display a dialog on first start that tells the user about this and how to copy the configuration. And there's no migration necessary for the database IIANM. OTOH, we should rather wait for 5.2.0 anyway, which is about to be released soon AFAIK.
Needless to say, digikam4 does not work for me reliably.
