1) Log out is impossible. Solution seems to be install "iceauth" (bug 845264)
A fix went into 13.1 Updates 5 days ago.
But it is not yet available. I updated and did not get it. I had to install "iceauth" manually.
2) Once "iceauth" is installed, I can log out, but it doesn't ask to save settings on log out (setting to "ask on log out" is set).
Is there a report on (2) ?
I cannot reproduce this, if I enable PromptOnLogout with
$ xfconf-query -c xfce4-session -p /general/PromptOnLogout -s true $ xfconf-query -c xfce4-session -p /general/PromptOnLogout true
I get a checkbox in the "Log out" dialog.
No, don't enable it via command. You have to enable it via settings dialog. Maybe it is the settings dialog which fails to issue the appropiate command. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
