I doubt there is anybody in opensuse-kde3 mailing list who knows how to make Live CD's There are mostly users there...
If you create it with susestudio it gets very easy at least for a proof of concept. I've done a couple and the hard part for me was tuning the exact startup procedure. In theory you can run your boot CD in a special VM and hand tune it, then the changes are incorporated into the LiveCD. I did not have much luck with that, but it was over a year ago I tried. Why don't you get one of the advanced users to try it. They can ask for help lots of places.
