The relevant part is probably:
Test 5: ERROR [...] 2013-06-05 11:37:40 14124 [ERROR] /usr/sbin/mysqld: unknown variable 'table_cache=200' 2013-06-05 11:37:40 14124 [ERROR] Aborting
Can you please check your akonadi mysql config file ~/.local/share/akonadi/mysql.conf if something around this line looks suspicious? (If in doubt, upload the file ;-)
table_cache was removed in mysql 5.6. (in a minor release, yes, great job...) Edit ~/.local/share/akonadi/mysql.conf and replace table_cache with table_open_cache.
This is known upstream, no need to create a report
Tks much, this did indeed solve my problem. As to creating a report, will not the same problem occur to others and a solution not be readily available w/o a report, unless the fix is imminent ??? -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
