could you explain what else humans could do if they need to get improvements for a software accepted "right now" by those bots (because the humans like to provide improvements to users "out there") with reasonable effort for those humans who do all the actual work?
Essentially, you bark up the wrong tree: openSUSE has no policy that a bug ref would be required for submit requests to openSUSE:* namespaces. There is no openSUSE bot checking for such a thing and we have plenty of submissions without any bug references. (except in the maintenance process - but there you presumably FIX a bug, and don't just do random version upgrades. So adding a real bug ref should be easy). Cheers, Dominique
