Nobody's forcing anybody to 'suffer' anything.
The astonishing amount of time & energy spent complaining, name calling, etc on this topic -- mostly by the same cast of characters -- could easily have been spent calmly & professionally documenting the issues, and working through them.
Instead, a fine spectacle has been made, nothing's been accomplished, and harm's been done.
