I use GNOME since I become a Linux user (4 years now). At least on desktop computers.
I started with Enlightenment en switched to WindowMaker. Tried XFCE for a few months and went back to WindowMaker. I like neither Gnome, nor KDE. I need to change so much it is not even funny anymore. :-)
The funny thing is that on Novell Linux Desktop GNOME doesn't look like KDE at all. They even replaced Yast icon sets with GNOME ones. It would be very nice if we could see that on OSS. Or even better, to make gtk2 version of Yast in order to have completely KDE independent system like FC or Ubuntu ;)
At this moment you only need CD1-3 for default KDE and Gnome. Would it be possible to have a CD1+KDE CD1+Gnome and thus only needing 2 CD's to download? OK, I know it is possible, because other disto's can do it with one CD. ;-) So is it something that can be easily done (for 10.2)? houghi -- Nutze die zeit.
