However, YaST user and group configuration tool does not list "systemd-journal". I can send photo. I sucesfully added the group using vigr, and not "journalctl" runs as user.
I'm not sure of your point. Your "grep" output seems to show that group. Perhaps that's from after you added it? The group "systemd-journal" exists here. I checked a system installed today (in a KVM virtual machine). I also checked a system installed in January (on a physical machine), and one installed in November. All have that group. Two of the systems that I checked are at Build213.1, with others at Build206.1. Using Yast, I had no difficulty adding a user to that group, in the user details. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJa36bWAAoJEGSXLIzRJwiFNAkH/ijNBtxIKY/8fNBjzwDR8G+n x6g1owvMktrdWuMvTagREIPBR6Dv4GmR1RA8rBfv2ZvCLHD/DVmoiWeLCfKHKysa z1ebOeuzCvizw6PR/7XN6fKpG03i/jfbCl7FO+lj7SOLIDBOaJQqJX6Y2ERaVSze 2lLNkEeqpRk2mcfUJH1NL6V9xOr0PdDDFcSy5xlQuOTnCajCI2UHzAB1BPhGo23f FcH401SyFJciIt5PsQ/0o+/Y0euFukWlyzqMg7zKGus7Am47RdIHW9tTPs5OG6Mq WhtrWvyTr0pBQSOiWAZxyDhgb2p6ot57sh5caP0Xa0TFM/I3dbgzXlfXXe9PAuE= =uL/M -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
