I know I'm late to the party, but I'm still running Leap on a HP microserver G7 bought in 2011, which has this: Vendor ID: AuthenticAMD CPU family: 16 Model: 6 Model name: AMD Athlon(tm) II Neo N36L Dual-Core Processor

/tmp/test.awk CPU supports x86-64-v1

I believe there are still a lot these around and will be in 2025 (or whenever Leap 15 is EOL). I'm sure the project has some statement on sustainability somewhere; this decision would be a good opportunity to show that we are serious about it. Best Martin
