lightdm does not start; switched back to gdm in /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager and login is fine.
Yes, I ran into that. So I switched to "kdm", which is working well. I then downloaded the rescue CD (32 bit version, by mistake). And I tried booting that on a different computer. It boots fine into XFCE with the auto-login. But if I logout, then "lightdm" and X never start up again. That looks to be the same problem. I also ran into a probable bug with "akregator". If I tell "akregator" to quit, the KDE bug reporter comes up and tells me that it ended abnormally. However, restarting "akregator", it seems to think there was no problem (does not offer a recovery mode). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
