I'm currently using the following repos (as recommended on Tumbleweed homepage) http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/Tumbleweed/standard/ http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/openSUSE-current/repo/oss/ http://download.opensuse.org/update/openSUSE-current/
Those are the correct ones to use.
The Tumbleweed repo does not contain any drbd tools package - but drbd 8.4 kernel module within the kernel-default package. The older drbd tools package v8.3 came from the openSUSE-current repo. I've got the 8.4 tools package from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/smarty12/openSUSE_12.3/
I doubt that a personal repo is the "real" place for these tools to be developed for the distro. I'll dig around and try to find the correct place to link to.
Did I understand it correct that Tumbleweed references to the newest openSUSE stable distribution (today this should be 12.3), but offers newer software-packages (bleeding edge) and rolling updates to newer distributions?
Yes.
So why contains the Tumbleweed kernel a newer drbd module - just a little mistake in the big version jungle?
Yes, I never realized we needed to update these tools, as no one reported it to me before, sorry about that. I'll try to track down the correct version and repo to link to to resolve this within a few days. thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
