Is there a way to get the KDE4 desktop back from the Tumbleweed repo?
Well, again, it is still in the repo. You should be able to install it, in particular if you installed my plasma5 packages. Maybe try to explicitly install the packages with YaST. You'd need kdebase4- session, that should pull in the rest. But basically you should install those packages that are listed as being REMOVED in your zypper output. I haven't tried that myself yet though.
Konsole did segfault on first start and lost all profiles.
Konsole crashing on login (when started by the session management) is a known problem that has been fixed already in KDE:Frameworks5. The profiles are probably just not migrated. Try copying ~/.kde4/share/apps/konsole to ~/.local/share/. There's an upstream bug report about this btw: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346762
It also doesn't handle my default font (Anonymous Pro) correctly at 10pt (it does at 6pt and >=11pt) and makes the line height the same as for 6pt.
Also this is reported already: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346207
Ctrl-Ins and Shift-Ins do not work in the konsole anymore (I don't know if these were standard kayboard shortcuts or if I edited them).
Shift+Ins works fine here with the default shortcuts. Ctrl+Ins is not assigned though, you'd have to do that manually. Probably an oversight upstream, might be worth a bug report upstream (I can't find one) and should be easy to fix.
