As openSUSE in its recent versions only supports systemd, I'm not sure where the problem lies. (This is a honest statement, please don't misunderstand it as flaming)
As I wrote three times so far: in the attempt to break the promise that package maintainers wouldn't be pushed to replace init scripts by systemd unit files.
