Hi all: I just update from alpha2 to alpha3. I see a lot of errors on devices creation. I must create by hand devices for my mouse,sound and also,change permission for more of the normal devices like ptys,pcm,mixer.... :-(
Please send /proc/mounts - let's check that /dev is really on a tempfs.
Is it a bug or I do something wrong?
Looks like a bug - please file a bug in our bugzilla,
Andreas Hi Andreas: cat /proc/mounts -> rootfs / rootfs rw 0 0 initramfsdevs /dev tmpfs rw 0 0 /dev/hda3 / reiserfs rw 0 0 proc /proc proc rw,nodiratime 0 0 sysfs /sys sysfs rw 0 0 devpts /dev/pts devpts rw 0 0 tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs rw 0 0 /dev/hda2 /boot ext2 rw,nogrpid 0 0 /dev/hdb1 /hdb1 reiserfs rw 0 0
