For writing meta info in image files in place we (= daps) used exiftool. What do you recommend as a replacement on Factory?
Why not keep using exiftool? It's still there, just moved to perl-Image-ExifTool package.
Now I see that the new perl-Image-ExifTool package hasn't been pushed to Factory.
So I just did.
Thanks! Can you please also add the Provides/Obsoletes statements?
Thanks for doing that.
I didn't realize the original exiftool package had been dropped yet. I spent a fair amount of time cleaning up that specfile, so hopefully it will get accepted.
There was a discussion somewhere, but I do not remember the details. -- Karl Eichwalder SUSE LINUX Products GmbH R&D / Documentation Maxfeldstraße 5 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
