this causes a few problems with gnome-shell extensions.
Firstly, chrome-gnome-shell is now a hard requirement for using extensions.gnome.org (IIRC e.g.o has worked for me so far without having chrome-gnome-shell installed - I had only the gnome-shell- browser-plugin).
this is unrelated to GNOME 3.24. Firefox 52 has dropped npapi support, making gnome-shell-browser-plugin useless (it is only working for Epiphany). You need to install chrome- gnome-shell to get extensions control in Firefox to work fine. There is already a bug opened for Leap for this : https://bugzilla.open suse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1029915 Package are prepared there, we need to push them through SLE12 SP1/SP2. -- Frederic Crozat Enterprise Desktop Release Manager SUSE -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
