Thanks Adrian
What is the best way to update beta6 from the factory tree then? Sorry if this is on the wiki but I can't find it.
Good question, cause everything is broken (and when it is all broken trying to trace the bug is not worth it anymore. Could someone do a fresh install and log everything the computer does, cause all managers are broken as soon if *something* goes wrong.
rug can add only once a yum-source and then it is 'kaput', but we kow yum is broken, yast and y2pmsh doe not handle added repos well (yast does not add them and hangs when you try to do so, and y2pmsh cannot be uses for upgrading

Hmm, my Bug 152085 has been fixed in Beta 6, YaST2 now remembers the sources when they are added, yippee, and thanks guys! But there is a new one, 155797 that it doesn't remember the user set order and reverts back to the default order they were added in... You're getting there ;-) I was having problems getting anything from gwdg.de Factory for the last couple of days, it would download a few packages, then complain that the source wasn't available... I've got to prepare for my lecture at the Uni today, so I won't have time to re-try it until this evening (ironically my lecture this week is on Testing :-D).
