Of the specs for modern widescreen LCDs I've seen, most list 800x600 & 1024x768 as alternatives to the native (optimal) resolution. What's less likely are explicit alternate widescreen modes, such as 1600x900 on a native 2048x1152, or 1400x900 on a native 1680x1050.
I have an HD LCD screen (1980x1024). When I bough it, I noticed My video card was not HD capable. So I used it some time with only 1600 pix wider. With such a good screen, the know LCD blurr was not visible at all. Probably no more a problem jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://www.facebook.com/pages/I-support-the-Linux-Documentation-Project/3720... http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-fan-page-of-Claire-Dodin/106485119372062?v... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
