None of that works. I have all updates applied -- yes, "zypper dup"...
I don't even get the white screen I just get a black screen with a cursor arrow.
I encountered this symptom ~2 weeks ago on a machine with 15.0, the solution was to install Mesa-dri (and possibly also Mesa-dri-32bit) package which was missing. (Of course, I have no idea if your issue is the same but there is no harm in trying.)
Mesa-dri was installed. Mesa-dri-32bit - no change.
re the "white login screen" is caused by incorrect writes to ~/.cache/qtshadercache and /var/lib/sddm/.cache rm -rf ~/.cache/qtshadercache /var/lib/sddm/.cache -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
