Try the following, create a program that is able to figure out what exactly init scripts do, if it really is what the packager intended. Also try auditing all uses of /tmp , sed , awk, etc ensuring people are using them correctly.
Some features aren't provided at all and
when people point it out, the answer is "you shouldn't want them because systemd doesn't provide them"

Oh yeah. Like output from init scripts. Yup.
