Snpashot 20230326 is the last snapshot that will carry i586 binaries in the main repositories. Throwing out a lame idea ... would it be possible to announce the change via a *zypper dup*? Perhaps a tiny URL with a link with details? Good idea. Zypper already, magically, will "announce the change". ;-)
Me likes magic. :)
To get the URL to the user, you could create a webpage with references to info. Give the page a title which is the error message zypper will emit (the announcement). Then submit it to the search engines ahead of time.
Clever. Me gusta.
I guess it is too late now, though, to be the primary search result. Snapshot 20230327 is already published. -- Robert Webb
