I used a LiveDVD and he used a DVD. I think it is really important to ship this by default on all media.

I thought this was a problem of what package goes into the base (or enhanced_base) pattern.
Please us http://maintainer.zq1.de/ to check for the actual bug owner. Next reassign the bug to the person in question. This person might more likely know why the software isn't lonnger on the media.
