Running 10.3 alpha 2+. when I run smart upgrade I get this error: ... error: file /usr/share/YaST2/scrconf/proc_meminfo.scr conflicts between attempted installs of yast2-2.15.25-2 and yast2-storage-2.15.7-5
If I run smart, fix it tells me I have no problems to resolve.
In general: file a bugreport and point out the problem.
According the change log: ------------------------------------------------------------------- Fri Mar 30 08:24:50 CEST 2007
- SCR agent proc_meminfo.scr moved from yast2-storage to yast2 - Adjusted RPM dependencies
So, if the *new* yast2-storage contains the file, then file a bugreport. If it's a conflict of the old version and the new yast2, then smart does not do the right thing while updating,
It definitely does, but it depends on the user action. It's most probably that smart doesn't "see" the upgrade of both packages (yast2 and yast2-storage). Maybe the repository metadata wasn't up-to-date. Edward, try running "smart update" again to refresh the metadata and then run smart upgrade yast2\* But it might be a bug in the package (as AJ just explained above). cheers - -- -o) Pascal Bleser http://linux01.gwdg.de/~pbleser/ /\\ <pascal.bleser@skynet.be> <guru@unixtech.be> _\_v The more things change, the more they stay insane. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFGIyWvr3NMWliFcXcRAjG7AJ0bPLeD/Zsqz37PpkKOOjbCXF6nlACfcaZe 2oAEep820Jf360oVAcNARGE= =U0eg -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
