I agree. I've mentioned this earlier that since the transfer to Ruby, it has slowed down.

Interesting, this module is written directly in libyui(C++) and use libzypp(C++), so there is no ruby. See https://github.com/libyui/libyui-qt-pkg Can you make please bug report so we can investigate it together with YaST logs from both runs, so we see from timestamps where is difference?
