The fedora-devel list just had https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Default_Local_DNS_Resolver announced. I searched openFATE for anything similar and recognized nothing. Is this something 13.1 and/or 13.2 already has? If not, is it planned and Google just failed to locate anything about it on opensuse.org for me? If not already existing or planned, shouldn't it be?
How is this different than running bind on 127.0.0.1? I set it to be the 'master' for my local net and for my domain (though it isn't, really -- I have to manually keep them in sync), and have it provide caching services for anything else. That's been my default since ~2000(?) maybe? I don't see what they are talking about that is different (or innovative for that manner -- like claiming that jumping on board with Microsoft's "serviced" (Services.exe), is "trend-setting" or innovative?
