If this issue affects the upstream binaries as well, why not report it upstream?
If you report such an issue in the distribution bug tracker, someone has to take it now and forward upstream which will just delay the bug fixing process.
even worse because I cannot reproduce and the report has almost no information. I would have absolutely no idea what to proxy upstream since I cannot answer any questions about the issue. Wolfgang
