Running kernel stable on my system I was surprised that an update did not finish on one of my machines.Hereunder the error text after a whole night work (computer, I got a nice sleep) Downloading the new kernel and installing the latest one stopped at deleting the old kernel at 5% of the deleting process. As I could imagine that deleting the kernel which the system uses could be problematic I rebooted under the 4.4.1 kernel and retried to run the update. Same stopping at 5% progress. This update was done with zypper. The progress result with Yast stopped also at 5%. Before I do something more forceful to replace kernel- default-4.4.5-1.1.g09dee88.x86_64: with kernel- default-4.4.5-1.2.g09dee88.x86_64 I would be glad to get some advise from the list. By the way, the update on a second system went without problems. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ (1/2) Removing kernel-default-4.4.5-1.1.g09dee88.x86_64 .............................................................................................................
