In this directory you will find three sub directories (details, openSUSE and text). And yes, you guessed right, the plymouth openSUSE theme is located in the openSUSE directory.
Of course just changing the stuff in this directory will not change anything with regards to the boot of the system. For this it would be required to regenerate the initrd.
