Hi, yesterday I've installed openSUSE 10.3 RC1 and after the installation the boot process from hard disk hangs, when udevd is being started. After waiting minutes, nothing happens, even after pressing STRG+C. With openSUSE 10.3 Beta 3 I had the same problem. But the system is not frozen, because the enter- and numlock-key are still working. Perhaps this has something to do with this bug: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=270490 I am running the following hardware: Intel Core2Duo E6750 2 GB RAM Gigabyte P35-DS3P NVIDIA Geforce 8800 GTS 2 x SATA WD3200AAKS with Intel Matrix RAID 0 (ICH9R) Samsung SATA DVD-ROM Samsung SATA DVD-RW So, what's wrong? In the rescue system I'm not able to see the RAID array, probably missing dmraid/devicemapper. Thanks in advance. -- Mit freundlichen Gruessen / Kind regards Thomas Babut --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
