I was looking through the kernel: subprojects... and I was surprised to see kernel 3.6-rc1 build against 12.2/update but not against factory. is there any reason for that?
It shouldn't make a difference at all for the kernel - you only need to build it once and can run it everywhere. I guess this was a workaround while the Factory was broken.
