so, i searched/selected every package, which was noted in those tumbleweed snapshot email, and then let the dependency resolve, and then installed them.
i do it this way every time such a tumbleweed snapshot email arrives.
i have many repos configured, and always install via yast.
you only update Ruby?!?
i updated (amongst other things) yast and ruby.
all dependencies were resolved.
Urgh... surprised you only run into issues now then. The notification mail does not include all packages being updated in the snapshot. Just as the mail indicates: only packages that are on the DVD are consdiered to create those mails (~ 25% of the package pool) So using this information in order to decide what you think should be updated is flawed from the get-start. Run 'zypper dup' - and let your system be completely updated (all yast modules were rebuilt in that snapshot and thus all yast modules must be updated) Cheers, Dominique
