Is NM still the recommended way of configuring a wireless network ? Because I have no way of making a wireless connection under KDE at the moment (the network applet under KDE4 doesn't work for me).
What is the bug number? Can't help you without any details.

OK, I finally installed NetworkManager-gnome, and now I can connect to my wlan with nm-applet. (Knetworkmanager from KDE3 didn't work for me neither, btw) So it seems my problem was that I was trying to use a NM frontend that is not really ready for wider use. It was also not clear to me, that yast cannot be used anymore to configure wireless connections, the popup message that yast shows is not very meaningful to KDE4 users. So I guess this is just a small usability problem, do you want me to file a bugreport nevertheless ?
For YaST, the message has been updated (not sure if it makes to Beta5). Stano -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
