If this is from Firefox, I have just sent a patch that has been accepted in the devel project [1]. It has to do with the updated ffmpeg libraries on openSUSE carrying a new so versioning scheme that Firefox was oblivious to. For a temporary workaround you can manually install the libavcodec57 pkg from packman. Or better yet, test if the version from the devel project works (once it builds).
