RIGHT! Zypper is DE-agnostic. I would say if zypper behaves different based on the DE used, it would be broken. It's a CLI tool afeer all! NO DE is at fault here. digikam is a KDE app right? One can argue that Upstream CARES for this kind of meta info for Software Centers: or they would not ship the files. I still stand: let's FIX things, not reduce features.
