I've been running SUSE 10.2 64-bit on my Athlon 64 3500+ machine. When I do the factory updates, it kept failing with packages not being available - I'm guessing server overload.
But, on the couple of occasions that it has successfully downloaded and installed everything, the "Software Aktualisierung" (Software Update in English?) window hangs at 99% "finishing".
It got to 99% downloading just libzypp yesterday when I had to go out for a meeting. When I got back 5 hours later, it was still at 99%.
Closing it seems to have no adverse effect. I had the same today with the full factory update, it installed everything, then just sat there for an hour or so at 99%.

Known issue, please use "rug", "zypper" or "YOU" to update to 4th update stack update... Afterwards (and in final) zen-updater will work better.
