mh, i think you do not understand why tumbleweed cli exists: the main reason (at least for me) to use it is: 1) stay "longer" on one snapshot and you could later install single packages without updating the whole system - without breaking the system -. 2) check what release of tumbleweed is stable and install exactly this (and jump over some "more or less" unstable releases.) 3) to rollback the whole system its not the best solution, (even if its possible) it will "only" roll back packages. BUT the configfiles may be meanwhile changed to support newer functions. so maybe the older binary/package will not be able to use it. BUT -> if you like to try a singe program's older version it's often a good (or the only fast) choice. so do not blame tumbleweed-CLI for something its not designed to do !!! !!for me it works perfect!! simoN -- www.becherer.de
