Hi Dominique sorry ...
No worries, you are by far not the only one doing it and it was time to remind about it again - you were just the poor soul having done so today and getting the reply.
Why not add a reminder to the top of the email "Please trim your reply if reporting installation issue" (or similar), might save some grief.
What makes you belive 'trim your message' would be better honored than 'do not reply to this message but file a bug' ?
My obviously failed interpretation was that the "report bug" meant a reporting bug relating to a program just installed and failed to run successfully. I saw the replying to this type of email just for reporting an installation problem.
There is a strict instruction present; it is ignored. An additional instruction to trim when replying (which, in turn, contradicts the original instraction of 'do not reply') has little to no chance to be better honored by the respective people (sometimes, they simply forget, or do not consider the impact of their actions; reminding people every now and then likely achieves better results)
Anyway - this is getting far off-topic of the original problem being reported, which, fwiw, has a fix pending.
Cheers, Dominique
