Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20231010 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.8 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.110.0 Qt Version: 5.15.11 Kernel Version: 6.5.6-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650/PCIe/SSE2 nvidia driver series G06-535.113.01-14.1.x86_64 For regular Tumbleweed updates I use <sudo zypper dup>, but for several weeks now when the update includes a new kernel (and/or new nvidia drivers - I think), the installation part of the process returns a profusion of lines flashing by too fast to read but typically like this (sorry about the line wrap): /usr/src/kernel-modules/nvidia-535.113.01-default/nvidia.o: warning: objtool: _nv042750rm+0x4f: 'naked' return found in RETHUNK build By my count from the zypp history log, the recent update to 20231010 produced more than 9,500 such lines. The updates are successful as far as I can see, but this behaviour is new and I’ve no idea what it means, or even if it matters, still less whether it needs fixing – or how to do that. Clues, anyone?
