When performing a update to the latest TW version (using YaST) I get the following error:
File /usr/lib64/libgslcblas.so.0.0.0

libgsl19-2.1-1.1.x86_64 (openSUSE-Tumbleweed-Oss)
conflicts with file from package
libgsl0-1.16-8.5.x86_64 (@System)
Is this a packaging error? I aborted the update.
This is indeed a packaging error - somebody violating the shared library packaging policy. A bug was filed last night for this: https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=991155 As a workaround, you can do before you dup your system:
zypper in libgsl19 -libgsl0
This will also upgrade a few packages relying on libgsl, but that's to be expected Cheers, Dominique
