Do these indicate I need to report a bug? Known bug? Kernel, or X? Xorg.0.log https://paste.opensuse.org/58794648 dmesg https://paste.opensuse.org/37881046

XDM/TDM fail to start
It's not simpledrm , as we're not shipping it yet.
Then I'm confused. How many DRM changes are in the works? The above kernel is from https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/tiwai:/simpledrm/standard/x... Is there more that needs to be installed to actually be utilizing the changes it provides?
This is on an Intel chip. I would report this as bug against desktops or maybe Xorg. You reported such a crash in trinity before and than it worked again (?). I'd say trinity does something that triggers a bug in Xorg.
I suppose you're referring to https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1193250#c17 and/or https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1194373 ??? They were (are) using Tiwai's simpledrm kernel. -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science. Team OS/2 ** Reg. Linux User #211409 ** a11y rocks!
