I agree that the diversificatio of home:* is a bad thing. For most bigger parts of the distro (desktops, X11, apache, various other servers) etc there are however "themed" repositores that you can add and you get a whole stack of new packages to test. Isn't that almost the same? So is the request just merely asking for an "utils:misc:" repository?
