So probably a case for "Closing The Tumbleweed Gap" ?
This can also be seen in other repositories, e.g. Application:Geo, where you have to install everything but the kitchen sink from there if you are in need of an application from Application:Geo, just because this repo seems TW oriented.
So to be a bit more constructive, what would be a way forward? Actually there are quite some interesting packages in TW which are missing in Leap, e.g. "qgis" which is a defacto reference application for dealing with geospatial tasks. So what to do? - an additional "contrib" repro for Leap which has some weaker standards in respect to acceptance/maintenance? - should "all" packages in TW end up in Leap? What are criteria to be selected for Leap? In the above case, "qgis" is in TW since 9 months but didn't make it into Leap 15.2. - being much more "aggressive" in pushing packages from specialized repos as filesystem, hardware, science, etc. into TW, and then into Leap? Is this actually desired? Thanks, Manfred -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
