I moved a large part of packages from Factory to systemd init scripts. What I can say is, for the rest of not yet moved packages, a large part of service files are available in Fedora or in ArchLinux. It is possible.
It's not about being possible. When systemd proponents wanted to drop sysvinit, they kept saying "don't worry, init scripts work fine with systemd". When I was concerned that sooner or later, maintainers will be pushed by OBS check scripts to replace init scripts by systemd unit files, I was told it's not going to happen. Year (more or less) later, a proposal for a rpmlint check is on the table.
