On a desktop computer with Intel graphics (Z36xxx/Z37xxx Series Graphics & Display) and the same version of Tumbleweed, Plasma freezes (no screen garbled). This is also on X11. Solution: disabling composition.

I have seen some references to Intel graphics, but my system with an old 9600GT and having a Phenom II processor has the same issues. Most notably when I switch screens, they are lagging behind, doing partial screen moves and continue after a few seconds.
