Why waste time running a new install, if you have a debian system already in place you should be able to edit the /etc/apt/sources.list file to whatever selection of repos will work with your machine.

?? I don´t know what you are referring to . . . I am on digest because for the most part Iḿ just scanning threads . . . . I reply to the digest email which shows the same address as you have . . . ¨factory@lists.opensuse.org" it shows as¨factory," I carefully edit the subject to match the thread and I click go . . . . I usually am¨multi-tasking"and there isn´t time for logging into some site or whatever else, or going to instant emails . . . digest is OK for me. F
