After last update GDM now runs in Wayland session which causes issue with QEMU version I have (I posted this earlier). I still have WaylandEnable=false in /etc/gdm/custom.conf. Is this file no more used by GDM?
Which update exactly ? (rpm -q --changelog gdm | head)
gdm still uses custom.conf as configuration file.
January 19 2018 gdm-3.26.2.1-4.1
According to zypper history it was installed on 2018-01-27 and previous version was 3.6.2.1-3.1 installed 2018-01-19 and as far as I remember I could normally login into this version using old QEMU (where keyboard is broken in wayland).
/etc/gdm/custom.conf is present but apparently ignored (it is running gnome wayland session and [debug] Enable=true is ignored as well).
That is likely a regression coming from the 'auto-disable wayland on cirrus hardware'. Please file a bug for this (there could now also be a /run/gdm/custom.conf, which is auto-generated) Cheers Dominique
