You should receive the message Firefox can't connect securely to ... because the site uses an older, insecure version of the SSL protocol.
I don't know, but in Konqueror what you need is SSLv2 RC4-MD5. I don't know too much about SSL version, nor about what does Firefox support, so I should quite the discussion at this point. ;-) If nobody can answer, report this as a bug on bugs.kde.org for Konqueror/KHTML/KSSL.
